Captain Vangelis Patrikis has been captain of our previous catamaran since 2009. He has extensive experience and passion for the sea and is excited to welcome you aboard our new catamaran Elvira 52 for the new season. He holds an A’ Class Master Captain’s License and has graduated from the Merchant Marine Academy of Oinousses, located in Chios, Greece. Captain Vangelis also holds a diploma of offshore sailing, of advanced medical and a life safety certificate. He was introduced to the yachting industry in 1996 when he started being the captain on various motor yachts and sailing vessels and, thus, he has been entertaining visitors for the past 20 years! Captain Vangelis’ passion is to ensure that each and every guest’s need is catered to and all aboard the luxurious catamarans feel safe and secure while cruising through the beautiful Greek Archipelago. He has tremendous knowledge about each Greek island and loves to pass his knowledge to his guests! He speaks English, basic Portuguese and Greek.

Introducing Lia, the culinary artist and gracious hostess aboard the luxurious catamaran Elvira 52. With a passion for creating exquisite dishes and a talent for hospitality, Lia brings a touch of elegance and warmth to every dining experience on board.
She is originally from the island of Corfu, she has an extensive experience in hospitality over 20years.
Her creative flair shines through in every meal she prepares, from delectable Greek specialties to gourmet delights that cater to every palate. As both a skilled cook and a charming hostess, Lia ensures that guests aboard the Elvira 52 are treated to a culinary journey that is as unforgettable as the stunning views that surround them. Meet Chris, the versatile and dedicated deckhand/stew service onboard the luxurious catamaran Elvira 52. With a background in both maritime operations and hospitality, Chris seamlessly combines his skills to provide guests with a top-notch experience on the open seas. As a deckhand, Chris ensures the smooth operation of the vessel, from navigating the waters to maintaining the exterior of the catamaran. His attention to detail and commitment to safety make him an invaluable member of the crew.
In his role as a service stew, Chris goes above and beyond to cater to the needs of guests, whether it’s preparing delicious cocktails or providing impeccable service with a smile. His friendly and approachable demeanor creates a welcoming atmosphere onboard, where guests feel pampered and well taken care of. Chris speaks very good English and a bit of German.

Konstantinos, or Dino, is a dedicated and highly experienced professional, always eager to provide exceptional service and ensure the utmost satisfaction of guests. With an extensive knowledge of both the Greek Islands and the maritime industry, Dino is well-equipped to assist with everything from water sports to sharing fascinating insights about the region’s rich history. Fluent in English, Greek, and German, communication with Dino is effortless, ensuring a seamless experience for all guests.

Dino holds a Bachelor’s degree in Maritime Studies, a speedboat operator license, and an offshore sailing diploma. His qualifications are further complemented by certifications in STCW Basic Safety Training and React Right First Aid (CPR, AED, O2), underscoring his commitment to safety and professionalism. Since 2021, Dino has been serving as the captain aboard Alice, where his expertise and passion for the sea continue to provide guests with an unforgettable and secure cruising experience.

Born in 1994, Thanos Kostas developed a passion for cooking at a young age, helping his mother prepare traditional Greek dishes. Alongside his love for food, he pursued his interest in science, earning a degree in Applied Mathematics and Physical Science from the National Technical University of Athens. While completing his Master’s in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Manchester, he gained valuable experience working in restaurants across the United Kingdom.Drawn to the sea and a career in nature, Thanos transitioned into the yachting industry. He holds an offshore sailing  diploma and speed boat operator  license, as well as certifications in STCW Basic Safety Training and React Right First Aid (CPR, AED, O2), ensuring professionalism and safety on board. With years of experience sailing the Greek islands, he has extensive knowledge of their best destinations, hidden gems, and authentic local experiences. For the past few years, Thanos has been a dedicated crew member of Catamaran Alice. His enthusiasm, strong work ethic, and deep connection to the sea, combined with his expertise in Mediterranean cuisine, make him a standout host. With exceptional culinary and sailing skills, along with a warm and welcoming personality, he provides guests with an unforgettable experience—offering the finest Greek and Mediterranean flavors and hospitality, always served with a smile.
